Cost Effective

Purchase cost is substantially less than traditional bases and the simple construction process cuts assembly time reducing the overall cost of the project. Modfloor is up to 1/3 cheaper than traditional purlin based floor systems

Warranty

10 Year Selection Steel corrosion warranty exclusive to Modfloor. No other steel supplier will warrant their steel for underfloor applications. Bases are constructed using High tensile steel to G450, are BalFZ rated for bush fire zones and Modfloor’s galvanised coating withstands the elements for extended periods.

Easy Assembly

Joists simply connect to bearers with Tek Screws into pre-punched tabs that positively locate the joists and completely eliminates welding. Lighter components eliminate the need for hot rolled steel in the floor base reducing the need for heavy lifting machinery.

Sustainability

Custom lifting brackets are reusable further reducing manufacturing cost. Modfloor is manufactured from 80% recycled steel and is 100% recyclable. Modfloor is shipped flat pack substantially reducing transport costs and can be economically shipped Australia wide.

Design

Modfloor can be designed to suit virtually any type of foundation system. Design is flexible with up to 14m lengths and 4.5m widths. Components are manufactured to exact lengths, eliminating waste in the factory. Improved technology allows modular builders to customise floor panels with less flex and deflection.

Service Ducting

Pre-punched service holes allow builders to install plumbing, electrical services even air conditioning ducts in the floor system during manufacture rather than onsite saving time and money both in the factory and on-site. Everything is designed and manufactured though a computer-based system.

OUR 4 STEP PROCESS

STEP ONE

3D TECHNOLOGY

Submit your PDF or DWG plans to our team who convert them into a fully engineered 3D model to help you visualise how you modular base will look when assembled. Our engineers are licenced on all Australian states for the issue of structural permits.

STEP TWO

MANUFACTURING

Our 80% recycled steel is slit to our precise specifications including thicknes and width. The coils are then processed through our Framecad FL650 rollformer, cut precisely to length and pre-punched with service holes and connection tabs saving you time and cost.

STEP THREE

ASSEMBLY

Once the light gauge steel joists and beams are produced, the perimeter beams are assembled with reusable lifting points and made ready for flat pack shipping to your factory. A comprehensive manual can be downloaded to assist with assembly.

STEP FOUR

DELIVERY

Modfloor is shipped flat packed eliminating over width delivery costs. South-east Queensland deliveries are by ModFloor crane mounted trucks and delivery Australia wide delivery can be arranged by independent contractors.

Independent Strength Tests

Modfloor's deflection has been independently tested proving industry leading standards minimising the need for onsite rectification after delivery saving cost and time on site.
